Elections: Lobbyists

Vermont's registration period is two years, coinciding with the legislative biennium. Registrations for the 2011-12 biennium are searchable in the database links below.

Disclosure reports for lobbyists, lobbyist employers and lobbying firms are due three (3) times per year:

January 25 (covers period of July 1-December 31)
April 25 (covers period of January 1-March 31)
July 25 (covers period of April 1-June 30)

The 2009-10 Guide to the Lobbyist Registration and Disclosure Law below is still substantially accurate. A newer version with updated appendices will be uploaded shortly.

As of October 1, 2011, there were 400 registered lobbyists in Vermont and 380 registered lobbyist employers.
